Valentine Cards for you

These are some fun cards I made using StoryBook Creator Plus.

You can download these .jpegs to use these cards as is, or use the instructions below as a place to start so you can personalize them and make them yours.

Valentine Card 1

Valentine card  ingredients:

How to create:

  1. Start with a new 4×6 (landscape) project…blank.
  2. Use the Cheerful Valentine Digital Additions Embellishment – PM (photo mat) 4 as the background paper.
  3. Next, add the four stamp embellishments – L, O, V, E and use the arrange button to align them.  Space them accordingly on the page.  At this point, I grouped them together and put a heavy shadow on it from the format tab.
  4. Don’t forget to “save pages as” with a .jpeg file type so you can order them as prints.  This card mails nicely as a postcard…just .28 cents.

Valentine Cards Mini

Mini Valentine Card – to create:

  1. Start with a 4×6 landscape project, blank page.
  2. Use the Cheerful Valentine Digital Additions Embellishment – PM (photo mat) 3 as the background paper on half of the page.  If you click on the ruler along the top, you will get a straight line to use as a guide.  The right side of the card I left blank so it will print out as white.
  3. For the big red heart, use the Cheerful Valentine Digital Additions Embellishment -PM 4 and use the Cut & Fill tab to find the heart shape.  You’ll cut around the shaded area to make the heart shape, then remove the excess piece from sight.
  4. The last two items are also embellishments, so add as shown above.  The black outline is a photo border that I added so you would be able to see the card edges…it will not show when printed.  Once printed, cut this card in half for your two mini Valentine cards to be complete.

There are so many more Valentine’s Cards that you can make with the Cheerful Valentine Digital Additions, so I’d love to see some that you make.
